BigVillage treats your privacy seriously. This policy tells you what information we collect and what we do with it. BigVillage collects very little personal information and what information is collected is closely guarded. You’ll find the relevant information below.

When you supply information about yourself for a specific purpose, we do not use the information for any other purpose. BigVillage maintains an anti-spam policy and does not share, sell or rent information to any third parties. If you receive information from BigVillage it’s because you registered as a member or client.
Security
Personally identifiable information may be stored on servers that are not publicly accessible. We do not store Credit Card details.
Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties
We engage third party contractors to perform services for us that may give the contractor access to personal information held on our website. The prime example of this is that we engage a separate company to host our website. It should be noted that BigVillage holds very little information that could be considered personal.
Other than the above, we will not disclose your personal information without your consent unless disclosure is authorised or required by law.
What do we collect and why do we collect it?
We may collect and hold personal information such as names, addresses, e-mail addresses and phone numbers. The times when we collect information may include when individuals become members, or when dealing with clients we may record the name of a contact person.
If you work for BigVillage we maintain the usual employee records as required by law and usual business practice.
What about "cookies"?
A "cookie" is a small unit of information posted to your web browser by our server. We make limited use of cookies on our website for the purposes of tailoring our web pages to your needs. We do not match cookies to your membership details and we do not use cookies to track your movements after leaving this website.

Members are able to check the information held by BigVillage from their home page. Here they are able to edit or change any personal information, or to remove themselves entirely from our records.
Clients and listed businesses are given an opportunity to correct information we have received and recorded.
