Great B&B in MC

With a population of 20 million it's easy to get overwhelmed when visiting Mexico City. I was rather apprehensive at first but all was put right as soon as we arrived at The Red Tree House B&B. Jorge and his staff are truly delightful, warm and caring. The house is also a delight with cosy and comfortable rooms and a great feeling of camaraderie amongst its guests – such is the friendliness of everyone here.

There is a variety of rooms at varying prices – the suite is more like an apartment and costs $115 per night for two. It has everything you could desire. Breakfast is included and you'll find fresh juices, fruit, pastries as well as a selection of cooked dishes. There's always plenty of it and it's delicious.

Location is excellent in a leafy neighbourhood with excellent cafes and restaurants – one of the best which is directly across the street. The metro, buses and taxis are all available. Let Jorge and staff guide you and assist with arrangements – they're always willing to assist and generally can get a better deal. A great place to retreat to after a day's exploration of one of the world's largest cities.
